All Ro 'n' Slow BBQ Sauces and Rubs are tried and tested in competition and are proudly 100% Tasmanian made. Where possible we use local ingredients and support local producers and manufacturers. The difference between our BBQ sauces and the other commercially available sauces is the smoking process. Our key ingredients are smoked over a wood fire using Tasmanian Cherry wood, which gives all of our sauces a distinct Smokey flavour profile. Chilly Willy - Smoked Chilli Sauce We use a blend of smoked Chillis and Cayenne to give this sauce both "back end & front end" heat. Meaning, you get an initial burst of heat in your mouth which lingers to the back of your throat. A definitive must for the Chilli connoisseur. No Bull - BBQ Beef Sauce Why settle for a one size fits all approach to BBQ sauce? Our beef sauce is specifically designed for smoked meats and is our go to sauce for all beef entries in competition. The Smokey notes of this sauce also make it great for any cut of beef. If you like that Smokey flavour but don't have the time it takes to cook low and slow, use this sauce as an easy way to add that Smokey flavour to your steaks or roasts. Nice Butt - BBQ Pork Sauce Definitely the pick of the bunch! Our Pork sauce has real Tasmanian smoked apples as a base, mixed with the slightest hint of heat, giving you a sweet, fruity, heat on your Pork. This sauce, combined with our Pork rub, has seen us take out 1st Place in both Tasmanian BBQ competitions in 2017. No Bull Beef Rub is a blend of savoury spices designed to give you that classic beef flavour. We haven't added any heat to this rub as we feel heat can be added by sauce after the beef is cooked. Lets face it everyone has different tolerances for heat. Our aim with all of our sauces and rubs is to compliment the meat not to over power it, we aim for a nice balance of smoke, seasoning and the meat's own flavour with all of our products. Nice Butt Pork Rub is your traditional sweet heat flavour profile. As mentioned, combined with our Nice Butt Pork sauce, we are ranked Number 1 in Tasmania for BBQ Pork. Chilly Willy Sweet Chilli Rub is a definite crowd pleaser! We've used this on Beef, Pork, Ribs, Lamb, Vegetables and even in damper. This rub is a great all rounder! Hot Bird Chicken Rub is without a doubt our new favourite! The classic blend of spices mixed with a good dose of heat may prove to be a little hot for the average punter but if you like a bit of heat on your wings you have to try this! We tested this on whole chickens, thighs, breasts, drumsticks and wings and every time it does the job. Spicy Ewe Lamb Rub is our competition Lamb rub. This rub consistently has us in the top 10 at competitions and has seen us take out a 1st & 3rd places. The flavour profiles are orientated around Mum's Sunday roast and can be used on anything from chops to roasts. Danish Pie Rib Rub is one of our newest additions to the range. Pork Ribs are a serious dish to any BBQ fanatic. Most Rib Rubs offer a similar flavour profile to that of Pork being the sweet heat. In its conceptual phase we were doubtful that the "Apple Pie" flavour would work but we were wrong! Tip - use this rub with a thick sweet molasses based sauce and you will be extremely happy with the results. All of our dry rubs can be used for smoking, grilling, frying or roasting.
